What are the updated Hearing Type Codes adopted for use in the Courts of Limited Jurisdiction (CLJ)?
The updated Hearing Type Codes were developed by the Judicial Needs Estimate Workgroup, in an effort to more accurately track judicial time spent on hearings and approved for adoption by the District and Municipal Court Judges Executive Board. The attached Hearing Type Code criteria was finalized after the District and Municipal Court Management Association (DMCMA) Spring Regional Trainings held in April 2015.
Also, the attached Hearing Type Code Subtype Template is provided to aid the courts in reviewing the default codes and customizing the optional second field of the Hearing Type Codes to be more specific. For more information on adding and updating these codes, please refer to the Hearing Type Codes in the online manual.
