How do you prepare a Material Witness Warrant in JIS?
The only way to issue a warrant for a material witness is to manually prepare the warrant. JIS does not have the functionality to issue warrants for anyone but the defendant on a criminal case.
It is recommended that both a docket entry and a "Note" line entry are made to indicate that a warrant is issued for the witness. Be sure to remove the "Note" entry when the warrant has been served.
