How do courts get access to DOL DRIVES' DIAS and DAPS systems?
The Department of Licensing (DOL) has web-based applications that courts can use to access information through their system called DRIVES:
- Driver and Place Search (DAPS) a search tool that allows a search of driver and vehicle records.
- Driver Information & Adjudication System (DIAS) allows courts to access driver records and the ability to adjudication FTAs.
All manually reported dispositions, Pre-Trial IID additions/removals, records corrections, and other items manually reported to DOL must be reported using their DIAS application. To access the DIAS User Guide, please see the Driver and Plate Search (DAPS) and Driver Information & Adjudication System (DIAS) web page on DOL's web site. The User Guides can be located under Step 4 on that page.
For more information regarding Driver and Plate Search (DAPS) and Driver Information & Adjudication System (DIAS) through DRIVES, visit https://www.dol.wa.gov/external/daps-dias.html or contact them by email at [email protected]. If a user needs access to DOL's DIAS or DAPS applications, request access by contacting DOL's Data Services department at 360-902-3708.
