Is there a SCOMIS Docket Code to record the use of the JIS Search Information sheet used by the judge to complete the JIS search required before the court enters a final parenting plan?
There is not a specific Docket Code for recording that the search forms have been completed and the searches in JIS performed.
This issue was brought before the JIS Codes Committee on March 25, 2008, resulting in the recommendation that courts who use the JIS search form continue to use the Note or RQ Docket Codes to record these entries.
