Does a Quiet Title Judgment need to receive a judgment number?
Any Quiet Title Judgment that DOES NOT involve money should NOT receive a judgment number. Instead, enter the appropriate docket code to record the judgment in the docket. When the judgment is recorded, the case can be resolved and completed.
If money is involved, a judgment number would be required. Use the Quiet Title Judgment Type Code when entering the judgment. Process the judgment according to the Judgments in SCOMIS section of the SCOMIS Online Manual.
