How do I enter charges in the alternative on the SCOMIS Charge Screen?

If recording "or in the alternative charges," the charge needs to be recorded as in the following screen example. If the defendant was convicted of the Malicious Mischief in the third-Degree charge, then the two RCWs should be switched so the charge the person was convicted of is on the first line where the Result Code is entered:
It is very important to review the RCW description that displays after entering the charge. Per the 2004 RCW Code revisions, many sub-paragraph references were switched from gross misdemeanors to felonies. If you find the RCW is rejected or displays incorrectly, please refer to C.
