On the SCOMIS Charge Screen, how do I amend a charge when actual amended information has not been filed by the prosecutor's office? Our prosecutor orally amended the charge, but no amendment was filed.
The Result Code only needs to be posted on the last charges entered.
The sequence of information on the charge should appear as follows:
The same procedure outlined above would also be followed if the jury amended a charge. The language after the dashes would be "CHARGE AMENDED BY JURY" instead of "ORALLY AMENDED BY PROSECUTOR."
