How do I seal or destroy a referral or episode in JCS?
Destroying juvenile referrals and detention episodes are handled in JIS. This process began when each county was converted from JUVIS to the Juvenile and Corrections System (JCS) in 2005 to 2006.
Sealing referrals and episodes must be done in JCS.
To seal a juvenile record using JCS, use the Seal Records screen.
To destroy a juvenile record, use the Destroy Records (DST) command in JIS. Both referrals and episodes can be managed using this command.
