Difference between run class of Background or Foreground on the Report Print List in JCS Print

IN JCS, what is the difference between Run Class of Background or Foreground on the Report Print List?

The Foreground option means the report was prepared using the Wait for Completion option in the Notification section of the report submission screen. In this instance, you get a Generating Report message while you wait for the report link to display.

The Background option means the report was prepared using the None option in the Notification section of the report's submission screen. In this instance, you get a message your report has been submitted and to check the Report Print List for the status of your report. The report will be printed from this list.
