How long do infractions stay on a defendant case history?
Please see the Destruction of Records Report in the JIS Online Manual on the Inside Courts Web page. This section of the manual contains a chart which outlines the process of tickets, by case type, from closure to archiving, and then destruction for both the paper record and the computer record. The chart is located under the introduction in a section titled Computer Records Archiving and Retention.
