Will I get credit under General Rule (GR) 26 for attending the 2002 Spring Conference?
No. Although trial court judges may report attendance to their respective associations for credit under their bylaws, GR 26 was not effective until July 1, 2002. The Washington State Supreme Court recognized credits earned between July 1, 2002, and December 31, 2002.
