How can I scan documents/records from a sealed case in SCOMIS? I need to add the case documents to our scan system, but I cannot get into the case in SCOMIS.
Sealed SCOMIS cases must be unsealed in order to access the case for scanning. Sealing and unsealing of any SCOMIS case is accomplished in JIS using the Seal Case (SLCS) screen. In order to unseal a case, the user must have security for both the SLCS screen and the SEALCASE utility in JIS. Only AM-type users in JIS can grant that security.
