What is a listserv?

A listserv is a program used to maintain one or more electronic mailing lists that facilitate communication among court-related associations and committees who have issues in common.  As an example, a listserv might include all members of a specific committee within the Superior Court Judges' Association (legislative committee, board, etc.).

Listserv mailing lists, developed and maintained by the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) in conjunction with members of the Washington State Judiciary, are not available to the public.

Members of each mailing list are predetermined and are assigned by an AOC listserv administrator who supports a specific committee.
