How are case participants associated with their attorneys in a superior court case?
In SCOMIS, the connection code and sequence number for an attorney usually identifies whom the attorney represents (e.g., ATD01 = Attorney for Defendant 01). However, when there are multiple litigants represented by a single attorney, the representation can be noted in the Litigants field on the SCOMIS Names screen by entering the corresponding connection sequence number of the persons whom the attorney represents as illustrated below:
