Why is my Tally Printer printing slowly all of a sudden?

These printers operate more slowly when Quiet Mode is turned on.  Check the settings on the printer to make sure Quiet Mode is turned off.

To turn off Quiet Mode (QUIETM):

  1. Press SETUP.
  2. Press MENU.
  3. Press NEXT or Arrow Until QUIETM displays.
  4. Press QUIETM.
  5. Press OFF.
  6. Press SET.

Put the printer back online and send a report.  If it is still slow, please request assistance from the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) Customer Services, by using eService Center and selecting Topics: Computer/Printer/Security/Access, or by calling (800) 442-2169, Option 1.
