When the monthly Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC) status jobs are done, will L be put in the Collection Status field automatically?
The L code is never placed in the Collection Status (CLN Status) field on the Case Obligation Status (COS) screen automatically. The court must enter the L code for a case in order to allow LFO Billing to take place.
Exception: During the LFO Billing conversion December 27-28, 2003, the L code was placed on COS for most cases with a blank collection status field and with outstanding accounts receivables (ARs).
