Why does the address on a returned LFO billing statement look different from the address on the person record?
The LFO billing address is "scrubbed" by the mailing vendor in order to meet bulk mailing standards. For more information, see the Address Data Entry Guidelines topic of the JIS Online Manual and the U.S. Postal Service Publication 28 - Postal Addressing Standards Website.
Where possible, courts may want to change the address on the JIS person record to match the address on the LFO billing statement since the LFO billing address matches US Postal Service standards.
Remember, however, person records are statewide and changes to the address record will affect other courts.
